Master System II
The Sega Master System II – a solid 8-bit console that had its own strengths. Released in 1990, the Master System II was a stripped-down, budget-friendly version of its predecessor, with the same guts but without the AV output or expansion port. Despite its limitations, the console still managed to deliver some fantastic games like Sonic the Hedgehog, Phantasy Star, and Out Run, showcasing Sega’s ability to squeeze impressive visuals and sound out of the 8-bit hardware. The Master System II remains a beloved retro gaming treasure.
