Video Genie System EG3003
The EACA Video Genie EG3003, released in the early 1980s, was a home computer compatible with the TRS-80 Model I, popular in Europe and Australia. Featuring a Zilog Z80A processor and 16KB of RAM (expandable to 32KB), the EG3003 had a built-in keyboard and offered a range of peripherals, including cassette tape interfaces and expansion modules. Compatible with TRS-80 software, the Video Genie provided users with access to a wide range of applications, from games to productivity software. Although not as widely recognized as some of its contemporaries, the EG3003 remains a notable machine among retro computing enthusiasts and collectors, valued for its capabilities and TRS-80 compatibility.
