Whenever people talk about the PSX, I always used to think about the PlayStation 1, as PSX was its codename during development.
But later on in life, Sony went and confused matters by actually building a PSX Console. This console was only available in Japan and was essentially a PlayStation 2 console with a built-in DVR for recording TV shows and writing them to DVDs.
I’ll do a more extensive write-up once I’ve had time to play around with it. Unfortunately, I need to wait another day as instead of Amazon delivering me a 240V step-down transformer, they delivered me a squeaky rabbit dog toy. Amazing work, Amazon, well done!
