Sony Playstation 5

So I was lucky enough to get one of these pre-ordered on Amazon a few minutes after the listing went live.

The console itself is great and personally I really like the looks of it. To me Sony have always done something new with the design of their consoles hwere as over manufacturers just seem to draw a rectangle on a piece of paper and call it job done. I think the only playstation design that dissapointed me slightly was the PS4, they went a bit too sensible for me on that one even though it was still a great console.

So currently I am playing through Dirt 5 which has been fun even though I have stumbled across quite a few weird bugs which hopefully they will fix. Do game companies not even play test their games anymore?

Hopefully in the near future some great games will come out for this console. To me the launch line up was lacking a fair bit. I am sure some of the games are good, they are just not for me.

Game and Watch

When I first saw this advertised I knew I just needed to have it for some reason! So I pre-ordered it on the spot and then completely forgot about it. Come November and as a nice suprise it arrived in the post. Was like having an early birthday present for me as I really had forgot I ordered it.

Now maybe I will actually find some time and try and complete Mario finally. I don’t think I have ever got past the first couple of levels before 🙂

Atari Lynx II

One of my regrets was selling my boxed Atari Lynx II with 8 games many years ago to a local second hand shop. I think I got about half the amount I have just paid out for another one 🙃. But at least it is now back in my collection.

I am currently on a waiting list for an SD card adapter for this and have a few orignal games on their way to keep me entertained so will do a review in the not too distant future.

Blaze Evercade

Even though I have loads of handheld emulation devices, for some reason I couldn’t say no to this. I really like the idea of the game collections like we used to get back in the Spectrum days.

I have also backed a kickstarter campaign for the Fusion Annual 2020 and one of the perks is a signed Oliver Twins collection for the Evercade. That was simply too good to turn down 🙂
