New 3DS XL

The New Nintendo 3DS XL, launched in 2015, keeps the original 3DS XL’s 4.88‑inch top screen and 4.18‑inch bottom screen but upgrades the hardware with a 1.4 GHz processor, brighter displays, and improved face‑tracking 3D that works even when the system is tilted. It adds a C‑stick for extra analogue control, a second camera with 2× optical zoom, and a longer‑lasting battery, while retaining full 3DS and DS game compatibility and the familiar clamshell design.
